Wi fi connection problems

Hey guys I am trying to connect my dad's phone to a new modem that Atlantic installed in my home,before it was art. Now I was able to connect to Atlantic's new modem on all my phones except my dad because it doesn't even show the network when searching for wi fi. I tried inputting manual too but it doesn't connect. I even tried the wps button option through the phone and modem which didn't work. It is a galaxy grand prime. If anyone could help thank you.

Stylus Compatibility

So im not sure where else to ask this but i've been wanting to buy a stylus for my HP Spectre x360 13-4116dx for note taking and such but HP is HORRIBLE about conveying what actually works with their devices. I've found a page that supposedly lists which styli work with my device but ive found contradictory responses elsewhere saying it hasnt worked for them.

is there any definitive answer on what styli i can or cannot buy? since im primarily note taking it doesnt have to be perfect but i would like a good quality one. if HP's styli dont work do capacitive styli work with all touchscreens? Thanks

Why don't we have Wifi Fans yet???

I use Echo, Dot, Tp-link smart switches, and Arduino! I love my Smart Home!

But I also love my tower fans, such as the ones below, and I can't find a way to hack them into the system. They are electronic so a simple smart switch won't turn them on/off. I've pulled them apart and they seem unnecessarily complicated...a bit beyond my scope.

I need someone to solve this and post an instructable so that I can say proudly..."Alexa, turn on my tower fan!"

Please make my dream your reality?!?!
