Dear r/tech, please suggest me where to start from understanding the basics of computing to be an 'expert'

Could anyone of you show me the direction to where to begin. As of now wikipedia and youtube is my friend to learn about it but I would like to know more.

Thanks in advance for any responses and also behalf of people who might have similar questions to mine.

PS: Sorry for my english as it is not my 1st language and I am a 1st year student in Comp Sci major.
