The incredible push of new in-home speakers that also provide audio home control features such as Amazon echo, Google home, Apple homepod continues. Yet wiith every new smart device, you always find there's an element of giving over your trust to an organisation and accepting potential risks in order to benefit. But in this case does the benefit outweigh the risk and does there need to be far more access and security controls with such devices?
