The iPhone launched 10 years ago for $500. Now it is just a mid range phone you can buy with this amount. The flagships are $800 to $1200. I call greed from the likes of apple, which is the main company that imposes price hikes. They make 70-80% profit on each phone and are the main Company that can reduce price. But, because of the apple fan boy sheep who will pay anything their Apple masters ask for, the cost has gone up for profit sakes alone, not because of increases in parts/manufacturing costs.
