I'm looking for a phone...

Hey everyone! So I'm looking for a good phone, and I'm running into some issues.

This is a semi-long post, and I want to clarify something. When I use the term "smartphone," I understand that there's a very wide range of meanings that can be applied. I'm using it to mean the standard and modern touch phones. The large phones where the screen takes up the entire device.

Basically, I don't want a smartphone. Currently, I have an SE, and it's smaller than anything I can find in a store. And an SE is massive for me. I want something small. I don't need to be carrying around a tablet.

So stores will sell a flip phone... for 100$... and it'll be worth like 40$. What I'm looking for is something close to the old blackberries - a screen and keyboard with some basic functionality. I don't care what sort of keyboard it has, I don't care about most things... the most important things are that it's small, durable (well, it doesn't have to be a nokia, but reasonably durable for its size), and has a decent battery life. A keyboard that either flips or slides out like older phones would be great, and so would something that covers the screen, but they're not essential.

I want to use this for texting and calling. I can use T9, though I'd prefer a keyboard. I don't want to buy used. Ideally, I'd also use it for email and a basic to-do list.

I'm aware that Blackberry has a new phone, and I have considered getting it, but it's still... a huge phone (defeats a lot of the purpose), basically just a smartphone with a keyboard attached.

The only phones I can find pretty much anywhere in person are basically tablets, but seeing the quality of the two to three flip/brick phones in stores makes me doubt anything I can find online. With nothing else to really go on, I want to be able to hold it in my hands before the purchase.

There's a huge market for smaller phones. There's a huge market for non-smartphones. I don't understand why nobody's capitalising on it. Yes, they're not what's hip right now, but people still walk into tech stores and ask for Blackberries. There must be something out there for people like me. Can anyone give me a hand?
