What field(s) within the tech industry can be self-taught the easiest? Looking to leave the practice of law. Maybe Coding? Website development?

Im looking for advice on what roles / fields within the tech industry are the most easily self-taught for someone in their late 20’s / early 30’s that has the potential to translate into a job paying at least $100k+ annually.

—I’m a lawyer and routinely handle sophisticated transactions (some involving tech companies) so I feel that I have the mental prowess to learn.

—would like to avoid any expensive educational degrees. I already have a BA and a JD.

—In terms of artistic ability, im probably about average. ( in case this impacts design related fields)

—i don’t know anything about coding, software development, etc but am interested.

—I’m in a medium size city with somewhat of a tech scene, but certainly no Silicon Valley. That said, their is a major shortage of qualified tech employees in the community.

—could probably dedicate 5 hours of in depth self-education to learn the field.
