Facebook has recently launched this feature that allows you to turn off political ads in your news feed. This feature has been introduced as a part of campaign ahead of the 2020 US Elections.
There are two options to configure this setting:
- From individual Ads
- From Ads settings
On an Individual Ad click on the "Confirmed Organization" button and then choose "See fewer ads about this topic".
In the Settings > Ad Preferences > Click on "Ad Topic" then expand "Social Issues, Elections or Politics" and then select "See fewer ads about this topic".
Note: The feature has just been rolled out in the U.S. and it's not currently available to everyone. It should be available to all users within a few days.
