DO TWO BLUETOOTH MOUSES WORKING NEAR EACH OTHER INTERRUPT EACH OTHER?

HEAR ME OUT! I know the title is confusing but i don’t know another way to phrase it. So me and my wife are both working from home. Since we’ve been doing this for a while now, we thought of investing in our work setup and bought bluetooth mouses for each one of us. the problem is we’re in the same table. it’s a bit cramped but we can work it. both the mouses work terribly so i thought maybe they’re bad quality. but then i brought out my old wired mouse and she continued using the bluetooth mouse and it worked flawlessly. so i had a theory that two bluetooth mouses can’t work when near another bluetooth mouse. is this correct?

things to keep in mind: -the batteries are all fresh and are good name-brands -our bluetooth mouses are of the with-a-receiver variety -when i said our workstations are close to each other i reallt mean it. we’re practically shoulder to shoulder. -i already tried googling it but was out of luck. perhaps the uniqueness of the problem or maybe just how hard it is to phrase this question as a google search :(

HELP ME.
