Full context at bottom if needed.
I was asked to create a very basic Google RCS chatbot. I started doing it in Google's "Dialogflow" when things started to get confusing:
- I noticed that on top of "Dialogflow", Google has a seperate platform for RCS and now I'm not sure which one I should be using. I can't seem to use the new platform as this page says I have to contact their partnet to request early access. If I do a regular google sign-in on the first page, it just redirects me back to the same page.
- In Dialogflow, testing works fine if the bot responds with regular text. If it's an RCS then it doesn't work and I'm not sure where I can test that?
If it helps, this is the full context:
I'm a sysadmin in a tiny company that deals with phone numbers databases. Since RCS seems to become a thing, there was some talk at the top of "getting in the game". A very generous telecom company has agreed to involve us in their demo platform. I was asked to create a super dummy RCS chatbot to get things going - enough to fill the requirements (this excel sheet). If everything goes to plan then we'll probably hire someone more experienced to build what we need.
This is a little overwhelming to me because there is just no info online. At first I thought that these chatbots are built with "Dialogflow" but now I see there's a early access platform which I can't seem to understand how to get or if that's what I need. To get things more confusing I can't seem to request the early access going. I'm not even sure how I can test the chatbot I created with Dialogflow because their on-site testing only works for text.
