Hi i didnt know which other r/ to go to feel like this is the best one so my xbox one s is far from my wifi box(modem) and i want to get a connection so when i bought a router i thought that i could have it in my room supplying my xbox wifi from a closer range but no your router has to be connected with ethernet cables to your modem so whats the point of me using a router if its gonna be just as far?
