Will this idea work?

I have this idea of backing up a lot of music using very little internet data.

So it works like this - a javascript code on the front end to read name of the selected music files (author, name, e.t.c). Then send the names to a web app which will search the names of the songs online(or using another api) and store the music in its database.

That means, the actual songs are not uploaded, just the name of the songs are sent to the web app.

My question is, can this idea work and be profitable?
