I am a software developer with 3 years experience thinking about making a transition to a more IT type position. The position involves data security, hardware maintenance, systems maintenance, systems monitoring, and things of that nature. I have experience in these things with personal affairs, building computers and setting up servers and such. But if I get an interview I'd like not to sound like an idiot. Any tips? Things to put on Resume that might stand out?
I have built computers, I have set up servers, I have handled data disposal for full hard drives.
