I need a new laptop for work, which needs general office suite capabilities, as well as the capability for adding other kinds of software which will be used extensively.
I killed my other laptop (Windows) and the insurance is going to cover a small portion of the replacement costs, which could mean I can afford a Macbook, but is it worth going after a Mac?
I will travel with it via car often, and it may see long hours of hard work in it's future...
Is a Mac better in this situation or is Windows a better option?
I am not a gamer, no. I hear Windows are notorious for suddenly crashing, which kills the HDD... Does this happen in Mac's too?
