Computer predictions 'control' cholera

Cholera cases in Yemen have been slashed by a new system that predicts where outbreaks will occur. Supercomputers are now determining the specific amount of rain that will fall and pinpoint the areas it will hit within a 10km radius, an important aspect to know as downpours tend to overwhelm the sewerage system and spread the infection. With this essential information scientists can predict the areas most likely to experience an outbreak, up to 4 weeks in advance, but can these computers actually resolve the issue?
