I just realized that what we pay for the device is not the cost of owning it. So let’s take the iPhone X and Note 8 as example.
iPhone X $1,000 new Note 8 $950 new
Rough weighted lower average cost on Swappa used iPhone X $690 Note 8 $400
Cost to own for 1 year iPhone X $310 Note 8 $550
Just thought I’d share that. Kinda interesting.
