Think about this for a second

Intel launched its first 14nm Broadwell CPUs in 2014. The same process has been used ever since, through Skylake, Kaby Lake and Coffee Lake. Intel originally claimed its 10nm process would be ready by 2015, then 2016, then 2017, then late 2019, then 2020. The latest leak states that the 10nm chips still will not have shipped by 2022.

In comparison, the James Cameron movie Avatar was originally released in 2009. James Cameron then announced the sequel Avatar 2 would be released in 2014. It was then delayed until 2015, then 2016, then 2017, then 2018. The current release date is 2020.

Will either of these ever actually materialise or will they be delayed again and when/if they do which one will have been delayed the most?
