I currently have an old DIR-615 from D-Link (https://www.cnet.com/products/d-link-dir-615-wireless-n-router/specs/) and was curious whether or not there'd be any noticeable improvement if I switched to a modern home router. I haven't upgraded over the last decade because I figured there wouldn't be much of a difference.
-My max download is ~12 Mbps and upload is ~0.6 Mbps (I am at these consistently, so I don't expect anything here).
-I'm the only one who would be on the wireless network at any time.
-My apartment is really small, so I don't need long range.
-I am only usually gaming (Wired; ping in games is ~80 ms) or streaming video (Wired; can watch 1080p60 with no buffering).
Thank you.
