Screen freezes and becomes checkered before going black and crashing or restarting itself. Anyone know what's happening here?

Only started happening this morning, seemed to be working fine last night with no issues whatsoever. Don't know what's happening with it now or where to even start with it. My PC is a prebuilt Acer Predator G5900
