This may be a weird question, but I was wondering if there was any type of screen filter or material that can/could reduce light emitted from a screen in order to reduce the brightness. Essentially the light from your surrounding environment would bounce off the screen displaying what's there with a smaller portion of light coming from the back light. Basically allowing a screen display to closely resemble a printed photograph while also removing potential eye strain.
I'm not looking for a blue light filter or anything for eye strain. This is more of a "Shower Question". Kind of like r/ShowerThoughts.
