Bluetooth Turntable vs Aux Chord Turntable?

not sure if this is the right sub to ask this question, if not then feel free to point me to the correct sub.

anyway, i'm looking to buy a turntable to play vinyls, and my dad thinks i should buy one that connects to speakers via bluetooth. i'm afraid that the bluetooth may detract some from the sound quality though, so i think i should get one that connects with an aux cable.

so am i right in believing that bluetooth would decrease the quality of the sound, or would it not have any effect?
