Really need some help here
I have 13 inch MacBook Pro (late 2013 model). I got it right before college and was basically on it nonstop all throughout college until I graduated this past May. From doing homework and studying on there to watching Netflix and surfing the web I used it like crazy. I still use it a ton.
When I graduated my battery life was so bad I could only have it off the charger for maybe 2 hours?
By September I could only have it off the charger for an hour max so I brought it into apple to see how much a battery replacement would it be and it was $250 and they’d have to ship it out and I’d be without it for a week. I was in the job search and needed it so I said I’d come back later.
Battery progressively got worse as within the past month I now need it to be on the charger unless it’ll die within 15 min and just today it got so bad that it has to be on the charger unless it dies and every time it dies it has to reboot up and it says the time and date need to be changed to continue. Also, the computer is so damn slow now.
Soooo.....
Do u think the $250 battery replacement will seal the deal and it’ll be close to new/be able to function normally or am I better off just buying a new MacBook considering how much I’ve used my current one the past 5 years?
Just need some help on rather to do the..z $250 battery replacement and see how things go Or $1299 new MacBook
