Why does my computer turn off when i place the usb c plug into a normal usb port?

so i've been experimenting with my usb c cable for the last hours because it seems like a kill switch for most computers

Im currently at a LAN party and i've tried it on all 6 computers here, and 4 out of 6 turns of when plugged into the computer.
