So, I bought my Lenovo Yogabook YB1-X90F lightly used three months ago. Everything was working fine. It's always charged a little slow, but now it charges super slow. Like, 5% an hour slow.
What I've tried:
Different cables Checking to see if any pins are missing (no) Factory reset Making sure my device is up to date Charging it while it's off Cleaning out the port Changing the USB configuration (it's on MTP currently)
Other notes:
I spilled some chocolate milk on it a little while ago. It didn't stop working immediately after that though, and I cleaned off the chocolate milk asap.
I haven't tried using an OEM charger, but my charger that came with my Moto G6 Play had been working fine with it previously. It still works with it, just as I mentioned, 5%/hr.
The battery capacity hasn't changed at all, it seems to drain at the same rate.
I had a Bluetooth keyboard that connected to a USB-A receiver I had plugged into a USB-A to microUSB adapter that was plugged into the microUSB port. Something that worked perfectly fine for awhile. One night I was using it and it was working fine. The next day I went to use it and it wasn't working at all. That's when my charging issues started up. Both the keyboard and the adapter still work with another device, so it's not either of those.
Sometimes, if I try the keyboard adapter and then unplug it and then plug in the charging cable, the device won't recognize that anything is plugged in or start charging until I restart the device.
I also noticed that any charging cable, when plugged in, needs to be positioned a certain way, and the micro end is a bit wobbly and easily wiggled/placed out of position.
Any tips you can offer are appreciated! I tried looking on the forums on Lenovo's site and couldn't quite find an answer to this particular problem.
