Apple's "Battery Replacement" program

Apple’s “Battery Replacement” program... If your computer falls between _______ and _______ dates, your battery may be defective and are eligible for a free replacement. Just make an appointment at your local Apple store to schedule an appointment.

Here’s the catch.... They can’t repair them in house because it’s Apple and that’s not something “genius’s” are trained for. And they can’t fly the batteries to you or your computer to them, because batteries might "explode" (their words)... So they have to ground ship everything from point A to point B. The turn around time should only take about 2 weeks. If you feel that you can’t be without your machine for that long, you can always take your computer with you, but you will also lose your place in the battery replacement que.

Keep in mind that the “appointment” was scheduled 2 weeks in advance, and none of these fine-print factoids where mentioned earlier.

Good job Apple, way to “help” out the customers while simultaneously f*^king them over. I’m sure Steve would be proud. Keep up the great work, you’re really good at it. 👍
