Are there any upcoming tech conferences or events in the UK that are open to everyone?

Obviously due to covid I would expect events starting in 2021 (or maybe this winter?), just to be confident about it.

It's a family member's birthday soon and I want to surprise him with tickets to a techy thing. I don't think he's ever attended a proper event before. He's a hobbyist, and the tech conferences I've found so far are only for professionals. I also know next to nothing about tech. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Any other ideas are welcome! Also please let me know if there's a more appropriate sub. Thanks for reading ☺️
