Is there such a thing as a sonic camera? A device that captures soundwaves and produces a 2D image of the soundscape like a photo

Imagine taking a sonic "photo", instead of capturing a map of light waves, capturing a map of sound waves. So being able to see a map of the soundscape like in the Daredevil movie or something. Does such a device/camera exist?
