What Android should I buy?

Hi! I see "Advice" under the r/tech rules but I'm not sure if that means I can or can't post for advice. So I will be posting this anyway.

I would like your recommendations & experiences with your fav Android phone(s), so I can decide which one to buy. This will be my first Android, since I've been using Apple for a while. I'm sick of Apple so I decided to get an Android next, since I'm eligible to upgrade. I've been watching vids and reading things online but I still don't know which Android to buy.

I'm only looking for Androids that have headphone jacks and aren't more than $600.
