USB Cable or Wifi ?

Hello,

I have a odd question seeing I am not the smartest when it comes to Internet and all that. First let me say the reason for this questions is the job i do from my home PC, the platform we use we are not suppose to use any portable devices except laptop or desktop.

They claim they can tell which device we use while on the platform, but i do like some freedom from my desktop and i have a tablet, which i got the idea of using a app which mirrors my pc screen onto the tablet which can be used either with.. USB cables or Wifi to view and interact what i see on the tablet via the desktop.

using this type of setup i am thinking will now make it were the work platform should see my device as a PC ? But would i need to disable the Wifi on the Tablet and use USB cables so that my tablet will not show on the platform? Basically making my tablet just another monitor is what it comes down to, but if i could use Wifi then i have full freedom in my house.

So bottom line will this setup show on my work place that i am using a tablet ?
