The LaWS laser weapon system is currently equipped on the decommissioned USS Ponce. What exactly are the capabilities of this weapon? Mentions of it being able to shoot drones down, and helicopters. Are there any other systems that could act as active defence, being able to take out APFSDS rounds, or any other rounds?
