A little problem starts to pop up or something doesn’t quite seem right and you just tell yourself it’s fine. And it probably is (even though your wife tells you to go speak to someone)…. But when the time comes, and you are ready, you want to make sure you have access to the correct people to help. And unfortunately, a lot of people just don’t have that. There is a shortage of providers and, coupled with a lack of access, it can mean you just don’t get the care that you need. But tech is trying to help with that and hopefully people will take note. Between virtual reality apps that allow you to take a virtual psychotherapy session on your own time and ‘telemental health’, the reach of help is expanding and hopefully more people will use it. Have you tried tech like this before, or seen it being used? Do you believe it assists the healthcare industry? How else can it be used?
