I know some futuristic tech companies are all about AI, machine learning, and self-driving vehicles but what about driving your car remotely, in the comfort of your own home? I think this is the halfway point between manually driving your car and having self driving cars but there's no news about this yet.
We already have delivery robots, drones, and toy remote-controlled cars (RC's) with cameras on them and having your real life car being driven remotely is basically that concept. Put in the technological parts into the car so it syncs with your controls at home, throw on some cameras on there, and have a driving station at your home with steering wheel, pedals, and three monitors to see your 3 windows, kinda like a racing simulator.
Is there anything like this right now or did we completely skip over that part?
