As a lover of books and a library employee, I have to say I see my fair share of people say that technology, especially aspects like virtual reality, are ‘only for young people’. But what if that wasn’t the case? What if technology was being used to help the older generation in positive ways and keep them connected? That is something that I could get behind and show that technology and books don’t have to be a ‘one or the other’ choice – people can have the best of both worlds. What are your thoughts on technology, such as virtual reality, helping the elderly? Is this an initiative you believe will be successful?
