I want to screen record and edit on a computer and I won’t to much else on the computer, what are the best computers for under $150?
I need to find an MP3 device that can take spotify and audible, it must have bluetooth and wifi but be able to use Audible and Spotify offline. A display isnt necessary and i dont care if it runs Android, IOS or Windows or something completely different. As long as I can enjoy my music and audio books without illegally downloading it, by cracking the DRM protectes files. 😊 The idea is to down grade my phone to a Nokia 3310 and have this on the side, so i dont have to carry around a giant screen containing SO-ME in my pocket. Please help me, and if this post isnt allowed then please help me find another subreddit where i can ask 🙂
Can anyone help me with moving main files from one storage to another storage within my PC. I've tried to figure it out myself, but have found little success. I tried changing the default destination for new downloads, but this seemed to not work. I've also tried moving the files manually from storage to storage, but this also did not work.
What's is it in your view?
I used to own a Windows phone way back but, like many others, despite loving it and the UI, switched because of the lack of apps. Considering how much the average consumer seemed to enjoy the actual phone itself, I don't understand why developers weren't fond of bringing apps to the store. Was it just a question of market share and popularity?

If my laptop's hdmi port is hdmi 1.4 can it support a 27" monitor at 1440p and 144hz? Note this is using an hdmi 2.0 cable and my monitor supports hdmi 2.0.
Govt website are bad in design, so I thought I could scrap them all at one place and they are not structured or patterned for computer scripts to scrap the available visas and its requirements automatically. So I decided to go for it. Idea was to structure the 200 Govts data and then run queries and model on it. The first part was painful to manually curate each visa from each Govt. website then use the power of open source tech to build this database and make it available to the world. I love the open source more now. I am listing here all the tech we used in the process. Now we have the first human curated and machine maintained Internet visa database for every citizen of this planet. Its like IMDb for visas!
Technology used (mostly Open Source)
The tech stack is:
Server NodeJS,
Database: ArangoDB (NoSQL Multi-model database, better than MongoDB in my opinion),
Front: VueJS SSR + Quasar Framework UI
Infrastructure: AWS EKS Kubernetes Service, CDN by Cloudflare, AWS SES. SSL Letsencrypt
Analytics: Google Analytics & data manager : System analytics by Prometheus
Code hosting & CI/CD: Gitlab AutoDevops
Code editing: Sublime & Brackets
API Management: Currently reviewing between KrakenD, Gravitee, KONG, APIMAN
Business Tech: Bitrix24 CRM, Zoho business apps, Gist Marketing Suite, Coda.io, Feedly and Pocket to keep us organized.
Creative Tech: Figma, Canva, Loom, Lumen5, Rocketium, Giphy, Nimbus snipping tool, MS Paint :)
On-Going Monitoring for visa changes:
Using above tech now we are monitoring 700+ Ministry of Tourism, Foreign affairs and immigration websites of 200 countries which alerts us on latest visa policy, law & security changes and our data team updates the database :) We are currently in public beta and improving every day.
Which are your favorite open source tech missing from the list?
You can check the database here if you like not necessary tho https://visadb.io.
Hi, I'm traveling to America (Burbank, LA) this summer, and need to buy a sim card for that.
I'm going to be there for a week, but will use the internet very heavily, because I'll pretty much always need to have it on for Google maps, (as well as discord and Airbnb chat + alsow maybe for some researches) How much GB of internet would you guys recommend me to go for, so that I will have definitely more then enough.
Thanks for your answers/help in advance, Fab^
I am a researcher at Carnegie Mellon University's Software Engineering Institute (A federally funded research and development center), and I thought some of you might want to pick the brain of my coworker, Gabriel Somlo.
With all the hardware / supply chain attacks we've been seeing lately, Gabe is attempting to build a computer he can trust, from the ground up. Tomorrow at 2pm eastern time I'll be chatting with him on our video stream (link in the comments). He and I will both be on the chat during the video, answering your questions.
If you want to post some questions in this thread, I'll make sure to run them over to his office and get you an answer as well, unless it is something we already cover in the video.
Some technical details of what he's doing: Gabe is attempting to create a verifiable and trustworthy computer, starting with an entirely open source processor, memory controller, bus system, and peripheral interfaces compiled from Verilog, then programmed directly to a field programmable gate array (FPGA), he is attempting to get a live running linux system, where each step of the process can be audited and reproduced.

Europe seems like it has a lot of great medTech startups. The list above shows some. But I really think that bioTech and medTech needs more funding so we can prepare for Disease X.
What do you guys think?
Yes, Huawei has a new mobile OS in the works and might be releasing it soon. Some people are celebrating it as a "new alternative" on the mobile market that can break the Apple-Google duopoly. Those people are not seeing the big picture and are missing the point.
The main challenge faced by Huawei smart phones is not the OS, is the lack of Google services. Who outside of China would buy a smartphone with no Youtube, Google Maps, Google Search or Google Assistant?
A home grown Chinese mobile OS addresses none of those issues.
Could Huawei try to relicate Google's services and build their own Youtube, Search and Maps? They sure can, but that ain't easy or cheap. Just ask Microsoft or Baidu how that initiative is working out for them. And on top of that, they now need to design their own semi-conductors. From scratch.
Can Huawei be an effective consumer hardware maker, chip maker, telecom infrastructure maker, a mobile OS company and an Internet service company? That is a lot of things to juggle all at once.

I hear a lit of people say it is, and a bunch of others saying it's fine. I want to know the truth! I have about 4 computers at home, what would actually happen if I were to go on my main desktop computer and port forwarded for lets say, game servers? Thanks. If there is a better subreddit for this kind of post, please let me know.
My boyfriend today bought Garmin Drive 51 with FULL EU map from one of official distributors of my country physical store as Garmin website states. As he showed it to me, I saw that it has that distributor logo glued on actual GPS device, USB cable was missing and it came with SD card (other websites and official ones state that there is no SD card added). My boyfriend told me, that he said that he added additional maps, so there would be more spots of interest & etc. When booted, device was already set to our language (not English) and everything seemed ok, until I decided to connect it to PC and start Garmin Express.
So I connected it to Garmin Express, registred product, saw that there is few unecessary updates (one small for software, 4 smalls for languages). We decided to install them and followed steps as shown in the program. There was no errors during installation, no errors during unpluging, but after restart "Maps are corrupt and cannot be used" error appeared. Of course, I thought I did something wrong, but what can go wrong when I haven't updated actuals maps and there was only few minor ~40mB updates.
I tried googling this error and found only information about errors while installing actual map packages AND one post about possibility to receive this error if you have cracked maps.
Tomorrow I'm going to call seller and ask him how to fix it (already googled how to fix it, factory reset and download of maps seems like the best choice, just want to hear seller opinion), BUT i'm concerned about SD card, additional sticker, error after installing minor updates, additional maps (map was called "MyCountryName roads") and I think that probably we don't have Lifetime FULL Eu maps, maybe smaller region maps and FULL EU maps was added by hand.
As a background, I am Computer Science student so I have knowledge of operating different systems, so simple update for GPS shouldn't lead me to trouble. My boyfriend has a casual computer user knowledge and can operate basic stuff like rewriting Windows & etc.
Would like to get advice, your opinion and what should I do. I'm thinking of contacting Garmin in my country and asking about what should be in the box, how first time turning it on should look like and etc. But Im afraid, that if I try to contact official distributors, seller would decline my complaint and I would have no right to get it fixed/changed
How can i unnistall the speakers driver on the pc so that sound only comes out through earphones?

Hi all,
AI is not my field but I'm working on learning more about it. Is there an existing AI program that assesses a non-native Japanese speaker's speaking skills? Or if not, is it possible, given the current state of our technology?
Thanks.
I’m a graphic designer and I consider myself in the loop with most tech and trends these days. How come I didn’t see this coming as fast as it is? My roommate just showed me the Oculus GO which is a consumer level product and I was shocked!
Hello! guys and gals. This is probably not the right place to ask. But im kinda desperate since im moving abroad in 1 week. A while ago my mother was using my backup phone an Iphone 6s and i wanna use it now but she wrote wrong password to her itunes to many times and now i cant log into it. Basically its bricked and the time we have to wait to change her password is to short for me to do it. is there any way to bypass this? Best regards TheBigBadBorker!
Title. I have a dingy little aux cord, and want to know if I’ll get better results using a larger/higher quality jack
Huawei is not only a smartphone vendor, neither a Cisco-like networking company. This company is much bigger than that. It belongs to the very closed circle of 4 large-portfolio telecom vendors. Others include Ericsson, Nokia and ZTE (another Chinese).
Huawei has an annual turnover of $100 billion from hundreds of customers worldwide. Their equipment are in the radio part, optical cables, wireline access, radio microwave, power systems, core networks, and others. If Huawei collapses, hundreds of telecom operators will have to spend huge sums (could go over $1 trillion) to swap their networks. Some parts are not too critical and can wait few years. But in many cases, action has to be taken immediately.
Where's the problem then? Not all of the operators will be able to find the necessary financing to rebuild their networks. Tens of them will go bankrupt, or nationalized. Those who can get the financing will face another problem: the manufacturing capabilities of the other vendors cannot be sufficient in the short and middle terms to meet the requirement. Let's say Ericsson, Nokia and ZTE are delivering 50,000 radio equipment per year. Suddenly, they're required to deliver 1 million. It will take them months to adapt their supply and manufacturing chains. Such an effort will require setting up temporary massive production lines at a very high cost.
This trillion dollars new market emerging from thin air will make huge profits for some and huge losses to others. Some third world countries will see their telecom ecosystem collapsing, so they will seek urgent financing from the IMF and the World Bank, then from international banks. Conditions and rates will not matter, and the consequences on their sovereignty will be painful.
What about the end users? The cost of Internet and mobile services will skyrocket, making them non-affordable to hundreds of millions of people. There will be much less people on the social media, taking their business model to the ground. Internet may look more like the end of the 1990s, with IRC and free niche forums.
The geopolitical consequences is another troubling dimension.
this keeps popping up whenever i start my device, and discord doesnt run anymore. i dont know if i accidentally messed up/deleted a file or something. please help. https://imgur.com/a/GUUFKCK?

I bought a new keyboard a few days ago , i have a home key , i use it to go directly on home while browsing , when i don't have a browser open and i press it , it opens chrome , is there any way to open firefox instead of chrome?
there are (to my knowledge) 2, Apple IOS & Android, with the ban on Huawei, what can people do, for those who have them? would using a costume flash OS work? or will a 3rd party come?
Why would my ex install Microsoft Edge on my phone? I’m having trouble getting rid of a pesky ex. I just figured out he installed an app called Microsoft Edge on my phone. He was super controlling and showed many red flags. I have him blocked but he is still emailing me. He also had my car for a while so I’m hoping he didn’t put anything in my car because he weirdly cleaned my center counsol out and my trunk. Anyways, I’m mainly weirded out about this app he installed. It might be nothing but I just don’t understand what this app does or why he did it.
I am arguing with a friend about how Microsoft may or may not exclude Huawei laptops from Windows upgrades.
How would it be possible for them to target only Huawei laptops?
My sister is about to have her birthday this week and she has been wanting to play the Sims 4. I own a PC and I don't want her to keep on playing on mine so that she can avoid stuff. She also has her own Laptop. After knowing that the Sims 4 was free for a limited time, I wanted her to be able to play the game. The only thing I'm asking though is can her Laptop handle Sims 4?
Her Laptop has an Intel Celeron (R) @ 1.60 GHZ with 4 GB of RAM. She has 134 GB of storage left.
Columbia University has started researching transformative technology that could revolutionize the way people could communicate. It decodes specific signals in the brain that convert our thoughts into words.
The outcome of this research could lead to are endless opportunities, such as creating a system that could help severely paralysed people speak.
It could help people using hearing aids by amplifying the voice they want to listen to and block out any background noise. To understand what the listener wants to hear it uses electrodes placed on the section of the brain that processes sound (auditory cortex)
Researchers then created a deep-learning algorithm that was trained to differentiate voices and look for the closest match between the electrical signature. once the algorithm choice has been made the hearing aid would amplify the voice that matches best with an average accuracy of 91%
Basically, how will the "ban" on Huawei affect Google revenues, stocks, etc.?
I'm not satisfied by google algorythms, what choices do I have?
I realize this isn't really for /r/tech but I have no idea where to even post this in Reddit. Every other subreddit auto-blocks.
Gmail used to be a decent, simple platform. Then Inbox took over and I never looked back, as Inbox solved literally every email problem I've ever encountered. It had amazing sorting abilities and to only see what I wanted. It was great at filtering. And it was SIMPLE.
Now gmail has turned to absolute garbage. My important emails become lost in promotional spam, or my important emails go straight to the spam folder, and despite a dozen rules gmail still thinks [important==spam] and [spam==important]. Spam is always shown at the top of my screen along with advertisements and other crap I could care less about. Fuck how Google has become. I've already dropped Chrome a while ago, gmail is next to go.
TLDR: Inbox was amazing. G-mail is garbage. Rant over.
Hey guys!
Not sure this is the right subreddit for stuff like this, but there's a really tough decision to make here for me. So basically, I ordered the Huawei P30 Pro last Saturday (just a couple hours before the ban), and it came in the mail today.
For a period of 14 days I have the option to send it back to the company I bought it from. I really love Huawei phone and I want to keep it, but for 1000$ it's quite the investment and I'm not sure I want to commit to it.
So, would you send it back? Or do you believe the phone will be just fine/ China and America will resolve the situation?
Thanks in advance.
Like the title states, I don't like Trump. I have never really liked him but the recent thing with him essentially putting Huawei on America's 'Blacklist' Is such a di** move. The way I see it, D.Trump sees a company that is not American based but rather Chinese so he makes every American company not be able to trade with it which essentially ruins Huawei in some key aspects as Now Huawei can't negotiate with Google,Nvidia,Some social media platforms,Streaming services and many more tech based and non tech based companies. This means that Huawei won't be able to receive android updates and won't be able to use any apps like Netflix,Intel,Instagram,Facebook,YouTube and many more. This also heavily impacts them in their laptop market as I believe many of their laptops use Nvidia and Intel chips and processors which they won't be able to use anymore. Even their Kirin chips that they use on mobile is made in America so now they have to find lots of people to do all these things for them as well as invest in building it's own OS and apps and so on if they still want to be in the Phone market. Damn, I really wanted a Huawei device sometime in the future but now it's not worth it after this. Huawei was doing so well internationally(2nd largest amount of devices sold, under samsung) but now it's gonna be hit hard . Same thing happened to ZTE and they will never be the same again. Rip Huawei. Thanks for reading my rant.
Just curious to find real cases/scandals of companies like google, facebook using social media against us. The depth of how much we traded our privacy to essentially become advertisers/ advertised to. Is there anything else we should be worried about? Would love to hear everyone's thoughts here in the tech subreddit!
I am searching for one that I can use for videogames (on PC) and has really good sound quality.
Just wanted to bring more insight to Climate change for us who use tech--which is a major contributor to usage of non-renewable resources.
My late night thirst for insights into pressing issues led me to the topic of climate change---and researching more about it (particularly through documentaries). And it's insane at how rapidly it's affecting the world and scary how by 2050, the world's mass migration is expected to rapidly increase--where people within regions of each continent, are migrating to other parts of the planet (which are already populated as it is) to escape the extreme climate change issues (increase of hurricanes in southern US, mudslides and extreme flooding in Indonesia, even more severe droughts in Africa, and Permafrost (a frozen layer of soil below the uppermost layer) rapidly unfreezing in the Arctic and frigid regions like Russia, which accelerate rapid release of greenhouse gases like Carbon Dioxide and Methane.
So this increases the human competition for resources and limits such resources as a result.
Let's try to do whatever we can to save the earth and our survival. Buy produce local if you are able to afford it, get hybrid/electric cars, carpool, recycle (it's sad how now certain countries are now refusing recyclable items), bike/walk more, appreciate and travel more in your own locality/state versus constantly going overseas (more flights = more CO2 emissions), etc. Many resources are available if we are willing to put for the effort to end or at least reduce climate change. It has to start with us individually, and then expand to our families, communities, and then nations!
I use a Dell Precision Tower 5810.
I have to be not seeing something here.
Imagine two giant winches in orbit, with the best cable we can make "today" and have a hook to lower back to the atmosphere from geostationary. Or would it be too short to reach the flyable portion of the atmosphere? My thoughts were that by flying the payload via a balloon or plane part of the way, the top part could be an elevator.
Would this be easier than the full elevator idea?
I’m not sure which ones to use / trust. I used Techradar for a while but a lot of their recommended tech products to buy just seemed sketchy. Big focus on computer stuff
So as we probably all know Trumps Huawei ban happend and that Google, Intel, Qualcomm and other chipmakers followed in the process. That has raised some questions on my behalf. I just bought a huawei laptop a couple of days and wasn't aware of what was going on between the US and Huawei, but what are the consequences for the laptop industry, how will it affect my expierence since windows is also a US company? Give me some information and advice! Thanks
I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit to ask ( if not could I be pointed to the right one ?) So what is currently going on with the tech giant huawei ? Short question quite a big answer I guess
Hey guys, I'm a senior in high school and heading off to college soon. I have been looking around for a good device to take notes on and have settled between the iPad Pro or the Surface Pro 6. Does anyone have any experience with either of these devices and could give me a recommendation?
So I'm an 18 year old girl, in college (though out for summer), and so most of my friends use iMessage. I literally can count the people who don't on one hand, and none of them are the people I talk to most frequently. I'm not one of those crazy people who will block an android user just not to see green bubbles, but I have noticed that texting is far more annoying even when just texting a friend who's an android user (missed messages, incomplete messages, etc). I know there are messenger apps like Kik and WhatsApp, but at least in my social circle, nobody uses them for day to day easy texting!
I really love the design of the Google Pixel 3, because it reminds me of the same feeling I got when my first iPhone (4S) came out and everything was new and fun and innovative. I'm not deep into the apple ecosystem at all (refused to get anything other than a PC because I love gaming and I'm learning code, besides I grew up on windows) but I do feel kind of stuck with Apple. Prices for the new iPhones seem super crazy, especially since this will be the first year I buy my own phone (I hope this doesn't make me sound spoiled I'm just trying to show you guys everything that's going on) and $1,000 is a shit ton when the only jobs I can get for the moment are a little above minimum wage in my state ($7.25/h). Yes, I could save up for it...but I don't want to feel stuck when buying a new phone man.
Imessage is by far my favorite part of my apple device. I'm a big texter, and easily sharing photos and videos in good quality is nice. Groupchats are important asf in college, and while a lot of them are on Groupme, there are considerable amounts made by smaller groups (ex: my business school team chat). I've actually seen people go out of their way to exclude android users in these situations, making one groupchat for the person with the android so they can see important messages and then making an iphone groupchat to joke around and stuff in with vids and photos easily as well as configure groupchat settings itself. I suppose it could be FOMO, but it sucks when the FOMO is also kind of important for maintaining connections with everyone whether they're a best friend, a friend, or an acquaintance you're just getting to know.
What do you guys think I should do, and what other options can I consider? I'd appreciate any advice, and thank y'all in advance, have a lovely rest of your day~

Throughout the course of time there have always been disruptive technologies.
We are currently in the latest revolution which is being defined by computers, but now more than ever AI and automation.
This new era will bring change and alter the way people live once again. Many believe these technologies will displace much of the workforce, while others state that the tech will allow people to flourish.
According to the latest article in Forbes, "Self automating jobs are gaining steam among programmers, but workers across other business functions are automating their jobs as well."
I have an old laptop that doesn't have much use for me anymore. I wanted to turn it into a little emulation machine but I don't want to use Windows and preferably not Linux or Ubuntu. Are there any operating systems that are something similar to RetroPi for example?
Similar problem, I can't the computer to boot into any ISO's. I don't know why. Thoughts?
So my SanDisk OTG corrupted and I need to format it. Unfortunately, every time I format it, it says 'Disk is write-protected'. Please, if anyone can help i would appreciate it.
Would just like to have like a 30 second timer informing me that my phone is about to die. So many times I’m literally sitting next to my charger.
I'm not sure how. I bought a HDMI cable and my TV has a HDMI port but my PC doesn't. Can someone recommend the right equipment I could buy get it to project? I wanna make sure I don't get the wrong stuff
I was playing a game, and I was speaking with this guy, I forget his name saying like he was a 'ghost hacker from the deep web' and I didn't think much of it, so I kept arguing with him, and so after that, I left the game, and went to bed. I woke up thinking about it like 'what if that guy really hacked me?' and so I walk over to my computer, I go onto the internet and nothing works, it continues to go off and on through the day, and I'm not sure how I can support myself against these attacks. Please help.
To all my colleagues:
By now you might very well already heard that U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) has put Huawei on the “Entity List”.
Many years ago, when everything was going smoothly, the company made ultimate survival assumption that one day we might have no access to any advanced chips and technology from U.S. while the show must go on. We, thousands of my colleagues started on this journey that no one thought would ever happen – to make “spare tires” for Huawei. We worked tirelessly for day and night for many years. Huawei offers such a variety of products with so many components and diverse technologies. Facing thousands of tough hurtles, seemingly endless failures, but we never give up.
Little by little, we plowed through the valley and saw the light at the end of the tunnel. But it’s always been on our mind if our chips will ever see the daylight.
Today a dark moments is upon us, the Super Power nation mercilessly cut off our worldwide supply chain. They put Huawei on the “Entity List” without any factual base.
Now our “spare tire” will be put to use finally! We’ll be able to deliver our promises to our customer without any interruption. With all our efforts, we are able to provide the end to end components to the company! This dark moment marks the most glorious time for every one of my colleagues here!
Huawei is determined to bring the digital technology to every person, every family, and every organization and connect the world through AI. From now on, not only we’ll continue our research and development, but also be self-sufficient and independent! There won’t be another 10 years for us, the buffer zone is gone now. Every new product must be accompanied with our own independent technology program.
Many toils ahead, but we have courage, wisdom and tenacity to conquer and prevail in the end! Storms ahead is the time we show our true heroic nature, no matter what, we can build our own “Noah’s Ark”.

I keep seeing ads for Centurylink at '$65 for life', so I decided to go see the details of the offer and read some customer reviews. Ouch. I'm not even sure Comcast is that poorly rated.
Also, I'm not sure how one star and a half equals a 2.5 average rating. That seems like fuzzy math?
It's been a minute since I bought my last television, and now I'm in need of something in the 45"-55" range for my bedroom. What are the key elements I should be looking for?
Also, I have every streaming device in the book: PS4, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, Fire Stick. Am I crazy to be actively NOT seeking a Smart TV?

I'll be starting the MBA process in the next few months and my laptop has decided it would like to breakup (we've had a solid 7 years together, I'll remember him fondly). I asked my friends what they've been using to take notes in class and their answers seem to vary between iPads and Macbooks. I'm balling on a budget right now and saw apple released the iPad Air. Would this be a good option for general note taking and some Blue Beam work, or should I bite the bullet and buy a laptop? Also I should note that my job only uses Apple products so I'd like to stay in the Apple family.
My new Alienware 34 curved gaming monitor keeps making this beeping sound and won’t turn on I’ve tried plugging it back in, and restarting. Thanks for any tips
I dont know what to choose between the 2 xl and 3a both brand new, i want something that will last me the next 3-4 years with no problem, i dont plan to do anything exceptional with it, maybe games sometime but mostly photos and listen to music. So what do you think is a better deal? Thank you very much!
When people say they work in tech they're usually referring to Google, FB or smaller startups. Obviously firms whose product is mainly software are considered to be 'tech' but so, I assume, is Tesla. GM or BMW on the other hand aren't usually considered to be tech firms although they might invest as much in software these days.
So, what really defines a tech firm?
What are the main specialities in the iPhone A13 chip?
I recently bought Bluetooth Billboard over-ear headphones, and I'm trying to connect them. Every time it says to check the pin, but I don't know how to enter the PIN, as I'm using Windows 10. I've also tried doing it via Control Panel but still no luck. What should I do?
Calix 844G-1 ONT/Router
This probably isn't the right place but I desperately need my problem solved. Even my isp is clueless on what is going on.
2 years ago I switched to fiber with www.arisark.us and since I have random ethernet connection drops (wifi always remains working) which requires either unplugging the ONT/Router or logging in through wifi from my cellphone to 192.168.1.1 and reboot the router. I have had 2 different computers, different ethernet cables (cat6 &cat7), ONT replaced 3 times and still have ethernet dropping issues. It happens more often if I am sending out large amounts of data (NO caps or throttling is being done). Putting my desktop on wifi eliminates all issues since network connection working or not wouldn't matter. Going all wifi is out of the question since I'm paying for 1Gbps/1Gbps internet, even 5Ghz I really don't get anything above 500Mbps.
Any logical ideas?
Kinda just looking for a laptop or computer that can deal with games like Cities Skylines and Subnautica, and that’s decent for editing photos and videos and stuff.
I have a SteelSeries Arctic 3 headset with a microphone on it that comes with a 3.5mm cable. I would like to be able to listen to music on my computer while having it plugged into my Xbox controller for game audio. This way I could listen to music while I game or talk to my friends.
I know I could probably get a splitter of some kind but the only ones I could find are the ones that split the 3.5mm into audio and microphone lines separately. I would settle for not being able to use my microphone during this but would prefer to be able to do everything at once. Any ideas?
For reasons I'm not comfortable explaining, I need to use ~5 Terabytes of data on my home PC. I always stream, movies, music, constantly and I average 1TB / Month. I need 5. In a few days. If anyone has ideas, that would be lovely
